Mrs. Fox’s Biology classes created model to represent Mitosis.






Girls Tennis will travel to Walhalla on Thursday, October 19 for the first round of the playoffs. The match will begin at 5:00 pm.


Broome High School Volleyball will host West Oak in the first round of the playoffs on Thursday, October 19th @ 6:00 pm. Admission is $8.00 and only South Carolina High School League Passes will be accepted.


Mrs. Covington's Biology class extracted DNA from cells and modeled protein synthesis using candy.

Students in Ms. Foster’s chemistry classes conducted flame tests to identify metals by the colors of the flames.




BHS Teacher Cadets enjoyed their visit to Limestone University for Teacher Cadet day.


Thursday's JV Football game has been moved to 7 pm.

Students in Mrs. Fox AP Biology class reviewed the structure and function of cellular organelles by creating projects of their choice.

The BHS Teacher of the Year, Cynthia Spears was honored at USC Upstate by OneSpartanburg, Inc.

Mrs. Kanipe's honors chemistry class studied how atoms emit light in the form of color by conducting a Flame Test experiment with different metal salts. The characteristic colors of light are used to identify the metal being tested.



9th grade AVID students toured Clemson University to learn more about their postsecondary options.


9th and 10th graders- do you love Science and Math? A representative from the Governor’s School of Science and Math will be here to provide information on Oct. 18. Sign up in guidance to attend the meeting.
