Mrs. Dubois's PLTW Biomedical courses and Honor Anatomy and Physiology visited VCOM. Medical students directed them through stations and then they visited the cadaver lab.

Congratulations to all of the students who have been selected for the AVID program at BHS for 2025-26 school year. These students earned their AVID Golden Tickets and will be a wonderful asset to our program.
We have two athletic updates to share:
• Broome High School's baseball scrimmage scheduled for Wednesday, February 19th @ Southside Christian has been moved to this afternoon @ 5:30 pm.
• Broome Softball's home scrimmage scheduled for Friday, February 21st vs. Seneca has been moved to Thursday, February 27th @ 6:00 pm.

We have a few athletic updates to share:
• Monday, February 17th – Our Girls Basketball team will host Southside Christian at 6:30 pm for the first round playoff game.
• Tuesday, February 18th – Our Boys Basketball team will host Chapman at 6:30 pm for the first round playoff game.
• Wednesday, February 19th – Our JV softball team will scrimmage Dorman at Broome at 5:30 pm. Thursday, February 20th was the original date.
Thanks so much to Greenwood Genetics Center for working with Mrs. Fox's AP Biology classes in the CRISPR and Sickle Cell lab.
Ms. Lee’s students enjoyed a gallery walk of classmates’ Holocaust Padlets during their novel study.

Mrs. Ford’s Fundamentals of Computing students participated in the paper tower challenge! With only 20 pieces of paper, the tallest tower was 60 inches!
