Spring Break Information

Spring Break Wednesday 4:00 pm - April 5.The school office will be closed for Spring Break beginning Wednesday, March 25 at 4:00 p.m. through April 5. Teachers will not hold virtual office hours during Spring Break. 
 
Paper copies available for pickup.Paper copy pickup and drop off for those without Internet access.
Paper copies for those without Internet access are being printed for the week of April 6 and will be ready for pickup on Monday, April 6 between 11am and 1pm. Any completed work that cannot be submitted virtually can be dropped off during any of the meal distribution times (Mon, Tues, Thurs from 11am-1pm) on the week of April 6th. 
 
Additional dates for pickup and drop off of assignment are
Tuesday, April 7; Thursday, April 9; Tuesday, April 21;  and Monday, April 23 during meal distribution from 11am-1pm

Spartanburg County School Districts Release Joint Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

SPARTANBURG, SC -- Sunday afternoon, the Department of Health and Environmental Services released news of a presumptive positive case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Spartanburg County. All seven Spartanburg County school districts have been closely monitoring and planning for the potential arrival of the Coronavirus in our community, and we wish to share important information about our response as well as ask for your partnership in helping prevent the spread of this and other illnesses.

The information below should help students and parents have a positive elearning experience.  
  • Each student should have received a phone call or email today with instructions regarding elearning access, assignments, and other important information.
  • No Internet? Please let the school know today (Monday, March 16). Printed materials will be available for pick-up on March 17 after 12:00pm.
  • Parents and students should visit the school and district websites daily for updates.
  • Students should check school email daily.
  • Teacher virtual office hours are 9:00-10:30am and 1:00-2:30pm M-F.
  • Please call or email your teacher if you have questions about course work.
  • Broome will be open Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, March 16-20. Beginning Monday, March 23, office hours change to 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Thursday.
  • Report cards were mailed Friday, March 20.
  • Parent-Teacher conferences scheduled for Monday, Mar. 24 have been canceled.
  • IGP meetings will be held via phone call at the previously scheduled day and time.
  • If you need to arrange for meals, please contact the school. Meals will begin the day after you contact us. Broome is a pick-up site.

Baby Pictures Needed for Graduation SlideshowDuring the Broome High School Graduation Ceremony, a slideshow is shown of seniors and their respective baby picture to show how much they’ve grown. This slideshow is a special tradition of Broome High School that honors and celebrates your child’s new chapter into adulthood. 

The deadline for submission of baby picture is March 26.
