The purpose of the NAFEPA (National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators) Scholarship Program is to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying seniors attending their first year of college. There are four scholarships, each worth $2,500 and they are non-renewable. Two scholarships are for students pursuing degrees in education and the other two are for applicants pursuing degrees in Education or any other field. The Croft Rescue Squad 18 Scholarship created this scholarship fund to give back to the community it served before closing in July 2010. Coker College Junior Scholars
Attention: ALL Juniors!
Coker College is announcing its annual Junior Scholars Program. If you rank in the top 30 percent of your class and have a 24 on the ACT or 1100 on the new SAT, you will qualify to apply to Coker this summer and will receive their merit-based scholarship upon acceptance. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®
The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will award $1,000 scholarships to deserving African-American seniors who will be attending a four-year college in the fall. Tywanza Sanders Legacy Foundation
Tywanza Sanders Legacy Foundation provides scholarships to students seeking to obtain an undergraduate degree at an accredited 4-year college/university in the U.S. The foundation provides a one-time scholarship to a graduating senior from a SC high school. Palmetto Boys State
ATTENTION: ALL JUNIOR MALES! Broome will send two males to Palmetto Boys State at Anderson University in Anderson, SC, during the week of June 13-19, 2021. Broome students will attend this leadership camp with other high school males from around the state to learn about government and the political process. This is a great opportunity to meet other outstanding young leaders from across the state of South Carolina. Scholarship opportunities are available for students who attend this camp. SEE MRS. Spartanburg County Clemson Club
The Spartanburg County Clemson Club will award two $1,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors from Spartanburg County public high schools, who will be enrolling as freshmen at Clemson University in the fall. The scholarship must be used towards tuition, books, or other enrollment fees. The Club will be awarding scholarships based on academic and leadership qualities demonstrated by the recipients. The Cannons Ruritan Club Scholarship is intended to aid a Broome High School student in furthering his/her education. The Whitestone Community Advisory Panel/BASF Corporation will award two need-based scholarships, in the amount of $1,500 each, to two graduating seniors pursuing their education in STEM and/or Engineering. Thumbs Up Guys Scholarship
Miller, Dawson, Sigal, & Ward Injury Attorneys are offering the Thumbs Up Guys Scholarship. This scholarship will grant three students a $1,000 scholarship,

The Broome High School Class of ’87 is sponsoring a scholarship to represent their class, the BHS Class of ’87 Legacy Scholarship. Nth Degree Orthodontics Health Science Scholarship
The Nth Degree Orthodontics Health Science Scholarship, previously named Nease & Higginbotham Orthodontics Health Science Scholarship, will award one $1,000 scholarship to a Broome student planning to pursue a degree in the Health Science field. Preference will be given to a student pursuing a career as a dentist and secondary preference will be given to a student seeking a career as a physician, pharmacist, or optometrist. Students pursuing a career in the allied health sciences (nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, dental auxiliaries, etc.) will also be considered. Preference is also given if you are a patient or have been a patient of Nth Degree Orthodontics. Come to Guidance for an application and details.

“Pee Wee” Lambert Scholarship

Richard Shoemaker Memorial Scholarship
The Richard Shoemaker Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a Broome High School senior. Applicants should reflect many of the characteristics Mr. Shoemaker demonstrated during his career, community service, and life. Senior Scholarships and Awards
SENIORS: As you receive awards and scholarships, please bring your award letters by the Guidance Office. For the award to be listed in the Honors Day Program, the Guidance Office must receive your letters by Thursday, May 13th. Please bring ALL scholarships you have been awarded, even if it is from a school you have decided not to attend. Please see Mrs. Sparks in the Guidance Office if you have any questions. The Florence Moore Scholars Scholarship

Claflin University International Alumni Association Academic Scholarship
Claflin University International Alumni Association Academic Scholarship is for graduating seniors who have been accepted to Claflin University. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarship requires an official transcript, so your application and supporting documents will need to be mailed by Mrs. Gilmer in Guidance in order to arrive by the deadline. USC Union Scholarships
If you have applied and been accepted, as a degree seeking student, to USC Union and would like to be considered for a number of scholarships they offer, come to Guidance for an application. Dually enrolled students must submit an Admissions Application as a degree seeking student and been accepted in order to be considered for a scholarship. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY EARLY.
