Berea College’s Carter G. NAFEPA (National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators) Scholarship Program
The purpose of the NAFEPA (National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators) Scholarship Program is to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying seniors attending their first year of college. There are four scholarships, each worth $2,500 and they are non-renewable. Two scholarships are for students pursuing degrees in education and the other two are for applicants pursuing degrees in Education or any other field. South Carolina Association of Title I Administrators (SCATA) is using the NAFEPA application to award its 18 scholarships in the spring of 2021. Come to Guidance for an application and more details. The American Legion Department of SC is sponsoring the Annual High School Oratorical Scholarship Program, “A Constitutional Speech Contest,” for students presently enrolled in grades nine through twelve. Watson-Brown Foundation
The Watson-Brown Foundation operates one of the largest college scholarship programs in the state and plans to award 250 new scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year. Students from 23 counties in Georgia and South Carolina are eligible to apply. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need, as well as merit, to students who plan to attend four-year, accredited, non-profit institutions.
