Model Arab League Awards PictureBroome High School's Model Arab League delegation competed at the Southeast Regional Model Arab League Conference March 16-18th at Converse College. Students competed in intercollegiate and high school debate with other delegations across the Southeast. Other competing schools at the conference included Spartanburg Day School, Southside Christian, two delegations from the University of South Carolina Upstate Scholars Academy, and Byrnes High School. Broome High School won overall Outstanding High School Delegation with individual delegation awards in the following:
 --Outstanding Delegate in Heads of State - Erin Quinn
 --Outstanding Delegation in Political Affairs - Hannah Norton and Emily Davis
 --Outstanding Delegation in Social Affairs - Michaela Emory, Olivia Hefner, and Janis Parker
 --Outstanding Delegation in Environmental Affairs - Kyleigh Moore and Jodi Lawson
 --Outstanding Delegation in Economic Affairs - Bailey Millwood and Kaden Fulgham
 --Distinguished Delegation in Joint Defense - Owen Keller, Dayton Caldwell, Juan Paniagua
 Also Participating were delegates in Palestinian Affairs - Tori Lipscomb and Logan Price and Special Council on Post-Conflict Recovery - Kim Hernandez and Cassandra Jones.
 Lana Greene serves as the advisor of Broome's Model Arab League. Carson McCallum, Dr. Dalene Parker's student teacher, was Mrs. Greene's special assistant.
