Clemson Calculus Challenge StudentsThe AP Calculus class recently traveled to Clemson for the Clemson Calculus Challenge. The students participated in a competition that included a 90-minute individual exam and a team competition. The individual competition consisted of a 40-question exam that ranged in difficulty from fairly difficult to ridiculously hard. The students ate lunch on campus and then regrouped for the team competition, which involved six free response questions. The students were given ten minutes to answer each problem. Points were awarded based on correctness and how fast they teams answered the questions. Fabian Salinas came in 4th place in the individual competition for Division 1. Over forty schools and 283 students participated.
