BHS MadMoneyRepresentatives from Founder’s Credit Union came to Broome High School on Thursday, April 27, to work with students in economics classes about their financial future.  The program is called “Mad City Money”.  Students were given a scenario that described their work and family situation.  They might have been married with children.  Students had to visit each business in the city to buy items and also to pay their bills.  Some students bought too much and were in debt.  Many students went to the Credit Union and saved their money.  Students learned how to budget their money and make wise decisions.
