Broome High School, a recipient of the Palmetto Gold and Silver Award, is located in eastern Spartanburg County, South Carolina, and serves the communities of Cannons, Clifdale, Cowpens, Glendale, Pacolet, and Whitestone. The curriculum provides a diverse range of courses and extra-curricular programs that stimulate and enrich the intellectual growth and development of the 900 students enrolled at Broome, providing these students with many opportunities to achieve academic success.
Graves Named Broome High Principal
Rodney Graves, principal of Crest High School in Shelby, North Carolina, has been named principal of Broome High School effective July 1, 2015. He succeeds Todd Hardy who has served as principal since 2010.
Graves graduated from Winthrop University in 1987, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with certification in secondary math. He has also earned a masters in sports management and secondary principal and supervisor certification from Clemson University.
