Peeler is ALL IN for Broome High School

Mrs. Peeler receives ALL IN Award

Each semester each Spartanburg District 3 school selects one teacher who is ALL IN for the students and community of that school.  The first semester ALL IN Award for Broome High was presented to social studies teacher Pam Peeler. No one can doubt Mrs. Peeler's deep and genuine love and concern for all students at Broome High. This semester, however, that love and concern went beyond her teaching responsibilities and the confines of BHS to include the students at Green Sea Floyds High School (Horry County) whose lives were impacted by the floods caused by Hurricane Matthew.  In a partnership with Chris Vassey, current GSFHS teacher and former BHS teacher, Mrs. Peeler coordinated a donation drive to support those in the affected area. In addition to this drive, Mrs. Peeler also coordinated the Paws vs. Claws Food Drive to support the food banks of local churches and played a vital role in Christmas Assistance Fund Drive to benefit the children of Spartanburg District 3. Mrs. Peeler is pictured above with her AP Human Geography students who know how truly deserving she is.
